Rispal perpetuates the heritage of 1950s French design through a collection of bentwood lighting fixtures, handcrafted in France.
Founded in 1924 in Paris, Rispal first distinguished itself with its avant-garde creations in carved wood and opaline. Having fallen into oblivion in the 1980s, it was reborn in 2010 thanks to the desire to relaunch its iconic models while respecting the original design and craftsmanship.
Among the most iconic pieces is the Praying Mantis , a curved solid wood lamp with a bold, organic design that has made its mark on the history of modern design. Each Rispal light is handcrafted in small batches, with a constant focus on detail and durability.
