About the design

The Birdy swing lamp is a true icon of contemporary Nordic design, originally designed by the famous Birger Dahl in the 1950s. Northern has now restored an original sketch to create this unique piece that has never been produced before. With its strong geometric shapes and soft, elegant contours, this swivel table lamp offers striking style and a modern design language that's always relevant. It is available in black, brass or steel finishes, and is equipped with an aluminum lampshade for soft, warm light. Its fluid rotation axis makes it easy and pleasant to use.
